My First Sacrament - Baptism

It was a special day for me. I was being baptized. Grandpa Ken and Gammy Anita are my Godparents. I was baptized at St. John's in Alpena - the same church that Mommy and Daddy were married at and my big sister was baptized at...Father Patrick baptized both of us. He was so warm and gentle. I was so great during the whole service and barely fussed until the end of mass - which was almost 2 hours long! The trip to Alpena went well and I slept most of the first stretch and cried most of the second. We made it though and I had a great time being cuddled by everyone. I even got a taste of my first cake! I can't wait for my 1st birthday cake!!!

I am a little peanut - I was 16 lbs. and 26".

Growing steadily but all this crawling keeps me 'slim'!

Baptism

I'll be baptised this weekend... :) We'll be heading up to Alpena where mommy and daddy were married - my sister was also baptized at St. John's...Mommy and Daddy are very excited and happy for me!

Pulling up

My latest milestone is pulling up on EVERYTHING! Especially Mama...I love to chase her down, pull up on her legs and screech MAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

talking stuffed animals, I think they are called puppets? Don't you think that is kind of weird? Sissy was playing at Deanna's Playhouse and I find the puppets very interesting but in a weird way!

The Gardens...

these little things were flying around everywhere! I watched them for a very long time - very fascinated by them. Daddy carried me on his back. It was really humid in the greenhouse - something I've never felt before. Daddy actually had to take me out to cool off because I just wasnt use to it!

My sister...

I really love her...she's so special to me.

I've heard my sister talking about grass and the color green...

I'm not sure what that is all about...yet anyway!

For the time being, I was enjoying the latest snowfall - I loved being pull around in this little sled.

Being a messy eater...

means I get lots of baths in the sink.

Which is a good thing, because I LOVE bathtime!

This new world...

OUTSIDE! This place called "outside" is amazing! It is neverending, it smells so fresh, and there is so much to see! I LOVE IT!

Come on, I'm just trying to save mom and dad some money...Mommy claims that diaper changes have become a tad bit more difficult lately. I have no idea what she is talking about...I think they've become all that much more fun!
