4 Weeks - Professional Pictures

My big sister Megan warned me that Mommy would start making me go see Kathi. Megan told me Kathi was very nice, but once Mommy starts, she doesn't stop. Snap, snap, snap - all these pictures - hundreds, thousands, and I'm only 4 weeks old! My Mommy thought they turned out beautiful...I guess that is all that matters! :) Plus, I AM really cute!

Mommy thinks we're both pretty good lookin'...I'm getting to be such a big boy! Measuring in at 10 lbs. 1 oz. in these pictures (4 weeks)!

4 Weeks!

Oh, how the time flies! I'm already 4 weeks old! I'm still adjusting to life out of the womb, but as long as I'm being held, I'm pretty happy! Now getting me to sleep by myself, that will take my Mom and Dad some time. Here are some pictures Mommy snapped of me when I turned 4 weeks. I even have my big sister in some of the pictures with me!

My First Bath

My umbilical cord took 2 weeks to fall off! Even after it fell off, it still was a little "oozy" so Mommy made me wait even longer for my first bath. From what I heard, a bath sounded so nice. I was excited to try it! I was a little over 3 weeks old when I got my first bath. I don't know if I agree with all the hipe surrounding bathtime. Look at the pictures and you be the judge - do you think I enjoyed myself?

Two Weeks Old!

I'm two weeks old now and doing well! I'm not the greatest sleeper, but I am a GREAT eater! At my 5 day appt, I had regained my birth weight (8 lbs. 2 oz) and weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz! At my two week appt, I weighed a whopping 9 lbs even! My umbilical cord fell off when I was 14 days old too. It felt off a little funny and the Dr. cauterized it a little bit for me. I'm almost all healed now and will get my first real bath very soon! I'm sure Mommy will take pictures! :) Well, I need to go call for Mommy - I'm hungry!

Meeting my Grandpa

My Grandpa came to meet me for the first time when I was just about a week old. He's such a great Grandpa, my big sister Megan had lots of fun with him...I can't wait until I can do all those fun things too! My Grandpa helped take care of my Mommy and cooked us food (of course I could eat any yet, but Mommy seemed to enjoy it!). I hope Grandpa comes back to see us again soon. I love my Grandpa and I'm so glad I have one as cool as him!

Perfection...

Yep, I'm a little miracle. Can you believe I started out as just a few cells dividing? Now I've turned into a perfect masterpiece from God. Pure perfection...

What's going on here?

Mommy's womb was so nice and comfy, but now I have all these new things happening to me. I had my first "wipe down" and my first walk in a stroller. Getting all wet made me cry and my big sister Megan was sad that I was sad. She tried to help Mommy keep me happy while I got all clean. Of course, settling down to nurse after a fresh bath is always a nice thing too! We also went for our first walk today - I was only 4 days old but it was a beautiful day outside - just the perfect temperature! The stroller soothed me and I took a great nap afterwards. Mommy better get use to pushing that double stroller now!

Alert, Alert!

All these new things to see! I've started having more alert phases now. So many new colors! I especially love looking at the contrast that Mommy's picture frames make against the wall. Starting towards the window is fun too. I'm so cute when I look around. Mommy, Daddy, and Megan love seeing my funny newborn faces.

Going Home!

Mommy was anxious to get me home, so we left the hospital before I was even 48 hours old. I handled the carseat pretty well until we were almost home. Megan helped me get all settled. Everything is so new to me right now. Here are some pictures of me on my way home!

Meet my family...

I am very loved. I knew this before I even came into the world. My big sister was always talking to me, my Mommy was always signing to me, and my Daddy loves to make me squirm. I'm so special to them. Here is my family...
